We are going Sustainable.
At Elissa & Stef we are conscious about our environment and how we can constantly work towards our business having better sustainable practices. That is why we are making a pledge to become more sustainable by the end of 2020.
Elissa & Stef welcome the changing landscape that fashion is taking. We think that it is more important than ever to make changes to our business to become more conscious and offer more transparency around the commitment we’re making.
The steps the brand is taking towards a more sustainable business includes using materials such as organic cotton and sustainable nylon in our range launching in A/W 2020, which will be the first of our sustainable capsule collections. By 2021 we aim to have half of our ranges constructed in line with our new ethos, still with the vision to forever improve and develop our environmental impact.
We will continuously develop and renew our practices in-line with further advancements in the field of innovative fabric development.
In addition, we will transition our packaging to be fully recyclable by incorporating recycled cardboard and reused plastic within our bags and swing tags to help combat consumer waste.
Proudly, our manufacturers are members of SEDEX, which protects workers rights and working conditions to ensure supply chains adhere to good ethical practices. We will be working closely with our manufacturers to ensure these practices are upheld and that our new sustainable vision is met to the highest standard.
We want to be honest with our customers so that they have a full vision of where our products started off, how exactly they were manufactured and what means it took to get the products to their doors. This way we can ensure that our customers have a fully informed choice when choosing to buy our products. The brand will work closely with all of our providers to make sure each practice has full transparency and that they all comply with ethical and sustainable practices.
