Have You Achieved Your Goals For The Year? This Is How You Can Push Yourself To Complete Your Goals In The Final Quarter Of The Year

Goals

So how close are you to achieving the goals you set for 2021?

A) Any moment know I will achieve all my goals.

B) There have been a few set backs but I'm nearly there!

C) I wish I was a lot closer to achieving my goals.

D) I gave up a while ago.

As we approach the final quarter of the year, time is ticking and you're probably pushing to achieve your goals for the year.

We are still living in unprecedented times and there have been many hurdles over the past year that may have gotten in the way of you reaching some of your goals. or even forced you to change your goals.

You still have plenty of time to achieve your goals

There are three full months of the year remaining; whether you are set to achieve your goals or you're a little bit behind, now is the opportunity to make the most of the time you have left of the year.

Re-evaluate your original goals

Take the time to review your existing goals to consider whether they are still realistic, whether you are willing to give your all to them and what you can do to get on track to achieve the goals by the end of the year. Keep in mind that there is  need to pressure yourself to work on all your original goals; if you feel like you want to remove a goal or change a goal, then do just that! It's important that what you are working towards is actually achievable from your perspective.

Set some smaller goals

Although adding more goals to the existing goals you may be struggling to achieve seems counterproductive; setting smaller things to work on may help you achieve the ultimate goals. Think of all the things you need to be doing daily, weekly or monthly in order to fulfil your goals. This could be setting aside an hour each day to work on something, or dedicating a day each week to focus on a specific goal. This strategy will help you to devise a practical plan making it easier for you to achieve your goals.

Reflect on what you have already achieved

When working towards goals, we often put ourselves down and put pressure on ourselves, even though we are doing our best. Reflecting on what you have already managed to achieve might be the perfect way to motivate yourself to achieve the rest of your goals for the year. Think of all the achievements (big or small) that you have made this year whilst living through a pandemic. Write these achievements down in a journal or in your notes and look back at them when you need a reminder that you are doing great.

If you follow these tips, you set to achieve your goals for 2021. Make the last quarter of the year count for something!
